    Default Maximizing table game comps

First off, don't listen to the people on other forums talking about table games - they don't play them to the level I do. The difference between them and me when it comes to level of table game play is like between a human and an amoeba.

Table game comps remain alive and well! including at Station Casinos (Palms, when it was open, Green Valley Ranch, etc.). I never play slots and yet I am President's level, practically at Chairman, at Station (based on only three trips - no more, just started playing at Palms in 2019), via nothing but table game play.

To maximize your comps, obviously you need to play and be sure to get rated, but besides the obvious, you may try to talk to the pit boss at the end of the session and negotiate a higher average bet - within reason. Obviously he's not going to bump you to 1000 if you've been playing average 100. But, first, just ask him. What do you have me down for? If it seems high enough leave it alone. Then ask, how many hours? Again - if it seems accurate, leave it alone.

Once you know what he has in mind, if it seems like you deserve more, just ask him. I always ask on the way out at the end of a winning session (which most all of my sessions are winners) what he has me down for, average bet and hours. As far as hours, keep in mind that rating is done different at say Baccarat than at blackjack. At blackjack they log simple, straight hours - time at the table betting.

In Baccarat, they employ a complicated system which in theory is that you get one hour credit for each shoe you play, if you play enough hands in the shoe. I tend to play at least the majority of hands in the shoe, so I always get full credit, but sometimes a pit boss will revert to actual hours played when calculating by number of shoes would have credited more hours. So - if you're a Bacc player - be sure to get at least hours for the number of shoes you played, if not more. In this arena of hours played, I have negotiated many a time. I mean, why not, glowing in the bask of a win - I can afford the luxury of spending some time at the table chewing the fat with the dealers and asking the pit boss for some extra credit.

What you can't really do - these days especially given that there is no contact with other humans in the coronavirus era - is pass anything to the pit boss. No happy handshakes! You are however, free to tip the dealer and while none of this goes directly to the pit boss, it does actually affect how the pit boss looks at you over all - as a team player who spreads the wealth, or someone who is just out for himself, and along those lines of mutual generosity, you might also get a bump in play rating.

Of course all this is just the beginning. Once you have maximized your average bet rating and hours at each table game session, how do you maximize your comps over all in the casino? Well, some of that is trade secrets that I developed over years and millions (actually well over a billion) in dollars passed over the betting circle. But for the most part, you'll figure it out as you go along - if you last long enough to make it as a high roller, which is something I've been, going back well over two decades.
