Back in 2007, Baccarat tournament player claims that the Venetian kicked him dishonestly out of a multi-round baccarat tournament to stack the deck in favor of �a favored guest of its marketing department.� Jarek Markowiak says that he dumped some $22K playing 6 hours of Baccarat ayt an average get of approximatey $2200. a hand to qualify for the tournament, but was moved out of the tournament anyway before its conclusion.

The case was eventually dismissed in the district court (in Las Vegas "district" court is the equivalent of the state superior courts in states like California)

because Markowiak had failed to exhaust administrative remedies by first pursuing the matter with the Gaming Control Board.
