Status of Vegas casinos post coronavirus
A friend of mine went into Wynn/Encore Thursday, June 5th, and reported a couple of things.
Since we're all real players, we were looking for how the table games are going. Other than some plexiglass, and reduction of players to three per table, these were pretty much the same as always. Masks are optional for players. All staff wears masks. Cocktail service is same as usual.
My friend reported that the Wynn/Encore VIP rooms are closed
but my host said otherwise, that all VIP rooms remain open.
There was social distancing going on at the Wynn restaurants.
At Venetian, my host reports that everything is open including the VIP rooms, and that cocktail service is same as before.
At both resorts, players are still allowed to handle the cards at midi-Baccarat, which makes sense, as cards are discarded at the end of the shoe anyway.
