Just a couple quick NFLX trades, just for half the usual shares, in case the bottom falls out of the market today.

As I have said, I don't like to get out of bed until I've booked at least a K!
As usual, sold too soon, but bottom feeding leads to very high probability trades.

Got stuck in little CMG trade @ 1391.95 but it sold out eventually at 1395. Not much else going on today other than watching some of my long terms go up. Bully!
-
Bottom fishing, NFLX 524.5 to 525.5 and AMZN 3313 to 3316.
-
AMZN 3305 to 3308. 3301 to 3304.
-
Just one trade today so far, TSLA 692 to 695.
-
AMZN 3245 to 3248, bottom fishing!

The deal with AMZN (the stock) is that the institutions need to buy shares, so they stand by until the stupid retail buyers sell at a loss then eventually scoop it all up...like today!

Market was closed today, MLK Day. Futures looking decently green for tomorrow's open.

Grump is OUT.
Stock market roared, again, today.
Up a half million on my long terms today, maybe close to a record.
So much for Grump's demagoguery about how the market will crash if he loses. :highly_amused:

I did two trades already, 3315 and 3255, sold those combined at 3287 for a small profit.
Third trade, was trying to buy at 3265

eventually filled, and sold those shares quickly at 3270.

The basic idea...for me, as far as trading, is BOTTOM FISHING. When I set this at 3265 AMZN was trading about ten points higher. And 3265 represented, in my mind, a safe entry point given the prior action. Sometimes I will set it for a point below the lowest print of the day, but today I didn't anticipate quite a double bottom.
Anyway it worked out fine - Eventually filled, and I sold quickly at 3270. Too soon, but with the market the way it is today, a quick five points is better than risking ten or twenty.
Goal is to book at least a grand a day, and have been able to manage that pretty easily lately. However the market is iffy lately so I am buying AMZN in 100 share lots versus my usual 300 at a time.
These are additional trading shares on top of my long term AMZN.
LIFO!
