This one will begin with picking up $15,000. in gift cards that are due from prior accumulated theoretical loss. And thereafter, all the fun and usual raping and pillaging of Vegas casino chip racks shall commence as is MDawg's wont.

Day 1 play

Baccarat.

I was down as much as -10K at one point but rallied up pretty quickly back to even and then ahead. A 5000 natural 9 win didn't hurt. After a few week break from casino play I was trying to take it easy, but won nonetheless.

Day 2 play

Baccarat.

Wasn't down much, maybe four or five thousand at the worst. Gradually got back towards even and then I cut a shoe where Bank was over 5:1 in the first hands - I mean out of the first 33 hands, 28 were Bank and Player never ran more than one.

The pit boss was saying, "____, the way you play you should clear over a hundred thousand here." Still, I did fine. After that initial period the Bank still stayed ahead ending at a ratio of almost 3:1, but the real money portion of the shoe was the first half. Anyone could have cleaned up on a shoe like that.

I have a specific goal in mind to buy something, to make the casino winnings seem more real, and I'm half way there.

Day 3 play.

Baccarat.

Heavy action. Lost a grip one session. Rather quickly. Resumed play later, took hours including a dining break, and won it all back. Wasn�t easy and there were some very big bets along the way. Once I passed just over even at the end of the second session I called it a day.

I just couldn�t bear the thought of moving backwards today. Losing in the first session was definitely easier than winning in the second!

Wasn't easy, played just a couple of shoes - one or two large bets, lots of smaller ones, fair amount in between, but I managed it.

It was up and down for a bit, with a couple of big bets, but where the gravy started flowing was on a pattern sequence where I pressed into it and benefitted mightily. Just - seriously - anyone who keeps bleating about how Baccarat is all about nothing other than random arbitrary hand choices should avoid the game and stay home. Which is about what most all of them, I imagine, do.

Day 6 play.

Baccarat.

Got a longg Bank run! after a not so bad period in the shoe to begin with, and pressed some, not mightily, but easy pickings, then left. Played maybe - half an hour.

But here's what is interesting. I let a friend play at my table, and this player chose to bet exotics alongside the Bank, and ate up everything was winning (and then some) to the tune of ended up losing something like sixty K! (This one was betting much bigger than I was - but, who ended up ahead? I did, the friend did not. :cold:)

Consisted of about seven hours of play up and down up and down finally just stopped rather tired. I was down as much as -30000 and up as much as +24000. Didn�t end well. I was just trying to win too much all at once, could've walked with twenty K at least three times I was up that much after being even or down.

Two sessions. Was down as much as about -13K on the first ended well ahead. Second session smaller betting won a few K.

I�m solid. Others revere my winning ways. Still, you can admire but don�t look too long. Meaning - I probably won�t allow you to play at my table.

Got up an even ten K over course of a shoe then dumped it all back to even in just a few hands or so. Ended first shoe ahead +5K. Was going to call it a day but gradually got it back up to where it was and quit.

Definitely wasn't easy but I was winning almost all of my larger hands. Played four shoes, some up and down, ended quite well. I had a $15K Bank winner where Player started with 4 I started with 5, Player drew a 6 to reduce to 0 (can't lose), I drew a 6 as well still won 1 over 0 (would have been a lot easier if the Player had just drawn a monkey, but hey, reducing-to-0-can't-lose was exciting).

Not a lot of drama. Relatively smooth sailing, probably maxed out at around +17K, left when it started to go downhill some, partly just because got hungry and it was time to end for the day.

Quite a day's play. I walked into one casino, played barely an hour, dumped about sixty K. Took care of some errands, went to another casino, and played literally eleven hours straight. I was up about thirty K after about an hour, then dumped it all in about four hands to go back to flat even. I plodded on, gradually getting to about plus twenty K, and then had some back and forth kept getting stuck at about plus forty to fifty K, and finally, exhausted, ended that session at about one hundred and seventeen K ahead. That is close to some of my records for a single session. Granted, I was driven on to win more by the fact that I had already dumped sixty K elsewhere, but still, quite a session.

Tiring, but rewarding.

The trick would be to eliminate the losing session entirely...and go right to winning big. May it be done?

In this case for the Day 25 play I just took it all in cash. They temp closed my line, but I didn't care. I just felt like walking out of there with a boatload of cash that day. I had to pay about 25 of it to the losing casino anyway.

Small time action as far as play. I made the rounds to a few different casinos that are giving me promo chips and gift cards just for showing up, with mandatory minimum one night stay requirements. The hosts are wise to what is going on - they put me into basic rooms for a one night stay, I checked in, went to the cage, got my promo chips and my gift cards if physical (e-gift cards will be emailed at checkout), and then just left. I never even went up to look at the rooms - didn't have time.

I did some play at one of the casinos, won a little. I did not use the promo chips for this session, actually. For that particular casino I am trying to stockpile so many promo chips that they may be used for a serious session all alone.

Didn't bother to play at the others. Strictly business here to collect.

I conducted a little experiment. I took 5000 cash to a casino where I don't normally play. No private reserved table, no special rules, in fact, disadvantageous rules - a shoe where the dealer hits on soft 17.

During the course of play, there was one hand where the H17 helped me, another where it did not.

So what happened?

I lost.

Was it due to the rules, lack of bankroll when I am used to playing with much more, my having gotten used to nothing but the double deck lately, or just plain bad luck?

At another casino won back +38K.

Went to another casino and dumped (promptly) -60K in about six hands. Ouch.

Returned to second casino and kept winning and winning to the tune of winning another almost seventy-five K on top of the 38K from the prior session.

Constantly running into people who want to play at my private table. I tell them, well, I'm not even playing Baccarat exclusively lately so there's no way for you to mirror my bets anyway.

And in any case, my luck is good and I am determined to avoid contamination. Sometimes, contact with the lucky may change a man's run of bad luck, but generally it works out the other way. Gamblers may be an envious lot. Gamblers especially online reclining chair n'er do wells who don't even play much if at all envied MDawg his scores. But everyone had to admit MDawg was a right guy, and always good for a small touch.

Cocktail waitresses - do they really like me or are they just bucking for good tips when they smile intimately and call me honey and all that. I know in the past before I was married I dated more than a few Las Vegas cocktail waitresses, but what about today? Are they trying to get my number or just trying to get a bigger tip, or maybe, a combination of both?

Not that I am interested, beyond merely the short term fantasy of playing hide and go seek with a mini skirt. In between the real action which is strictly business and involves high denomination chips.
