Latin casino operator buys Vegas Strip parcel for $120M (https://www.yahoo.com/news/latin-casino-operator-buys-vegas-193412495.html)

A Chilean businessman and co-founder of the largest casino resort operator in Latin America has reached an agreement to buy 10 acres (4 hectares) of Strip-front land that formerly housed the Riviera from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for $120 million.

The scuttlebutt was that this land was going to be converted to a parking lot, but this acquisition from a casino owner would seem to change everything. Another casino?

I know Vegas, at least the hotspots I frequent, have been very busy since June 2021. I am not sure why stocks like WYNN that I own have dropped, maybe due to Macau profits, but Vegas seems to be booming again.
