View Full Version : What is the story on CYDY?

This is the stock that DarkOz (of WOV and VCT fame) favors. Once again, he watched his "investment" rise to the point where he was ahead - this latest time ahead 25%, only to allow it to drop back down to where he is now something like -13% (unlucky thirteen) DOWN.

It makes me mad to see anyone overlook a profit and let it slip back down to a loss.

Bill Gates makes no mention whatsoever of leronlimab in his commentary on coronavirus treatments now or in the pipeline.
When Bill Gates thinks well have a COVID-19 vaccineand why that wont be the end of the pandemic (https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/bill-gates-thinks-ll-covid-110000085.html)

The Gates Foundation has also invested heavily in possible medicines to treat COVID-19. What progress are you seeing there?

So far, in the way of therapeutics, theres dexamethasone [a steroid hormone first approved by the FDA in 1958], which is the only treatment that has significant impact. Even [Gilead Sciences antiviral agent] remdesivir, right now, is still showing pretty modest results. But theres a pipeline of things being tested, including a number of monoclonal antibodies [lab-produced proteins that act like human antibodies, homing in on specific targets], which have the best chance of having fairly dramatic outcomes. We dont know for sure, but the cure rates could be very high, like 70% or 80%. Some of that data will start being published in the next month or two. The Gates Foundation reserved capacity at a factory owned by Fujifilm to manufacture an antibody product. We have to provide them with the thing by sometime in October, so were scrambling. If the antibodies dont work out or if we dont have the right ones, then well lose some of that money. But thats fine, because the potential impact of having that capacity, which is significant, would let us get it out to developing countries without having just the rich countries take all that capacity just for their usage.

Now this DarkOz character has watched 25% up go all the way to -22% DOWN from his average of 4 on this turkey.

And that decidedly is greasy kid stuff!
401

If he's so sure it will go up at least he should have taken a profit at 5, or even better, the damn stock was even 8 at some point (for a few seconds before it plummeted), he should have taken a double then - he could have sold half his shares and held the rest free! But noo this guy had to sit there and wait until he was staring down the barrel of a loss. Twice.

I'll tell you the real story on CYDY. Because, we've been there, done that.

You get a guy entitled to the title Dr.
No matter that he's not an M.D. or that his degree isn't even in biotechnology. No one within the top management other than a nominal board member is an actual M.D.

You find a drug that hasn't yet been proven to do much of anything, and license it, and tout it as a cure all for more than one disease, sometimes even for a disease that hasn't even been documenting as existing yet. You go public. By the time everyone figures out that your drug doesn't work all of the owners have pocketed so much via salaries and inside stock sales that it doesn't matter. And then, the company quietly fades away or is acquired by some other company trying to prove itself (to the public) in much the same way.

Of course I'm speaking hypothetically. Not from actual experience. Or am I?

This garbage keeps dropping.
414

AVOID that garbage. DarkOz is now down nearly 1.3 points on thousands of garbage shares of CYDY.

The reason no one thought to give Grump Leronlimab is because no one of any consequence thinks about Leronlimab...at all. It is an unknown drug from a pink sheet company trying to prove itself. Will it prove itself? Probably not.

If you were duped by DarkOz (or anyone else) into buying CYDY, there may still be hope on getting back a few pennies on your lost dollars:

Moving UP still. Bad Craziness, Jr. - it was pushing 7 ! but then the smart money dumped, and it's back at 5 and change.

Once the anticipation dies it'll be a "sell the news" situation. And, if the news is bad, look out below!

The issue is that CYDY failed to get any kind of FDA emergency approval absent further, expensive trials - and - the company has no funds to proceed absent selling more stock and diluting current stockholders further.

Abandon ship!

One thing about these investments is knowing when to withdraw or leave your profit

breanntisien
06-24-2021, 08:44 PM
Reading MDawgs first post now, Im sure youll probably do the same too. something about these investments is knowing when to withdraw or leave your profit. And even how much percentage of the profit should you take? For me, I know I might not wait even for a second when my investment reaches +25% since it seems like a miracle as we all know how long investments take. But theres also a chance that you might regret withdrawing your profit later on. Yk, I dont have any investment rn, but Ive read it on https://timthomas.co/12-best-5g-stocks-to-invest-in/ on the kind of stocks one should invest in. And Im considering it. But theres a chance I might move to forex trading only.
