I stepped into Morongo which is one of the larger and nicer Indian casinos in southern Cal, although nothing to compare with anything good in Vegas. I went for a commando photo raid.

Clearly they were expecting, or had experienced, a line to enter, but on this Thursday afternoon, no wait to get in at all.

There is a Covid-19 warning on the way in,
311

advising that the pool, spa and buffet are closed, and that you must keep your mask on,

and social distancing markers, each one six feet apart, on the ground.
315

This is the entrance area
314

and the lady in blue with black pants facing the door asks you to remove your mask, which I thought was for some kind of temperature check, but turns out is for, unless I am mistaken completely, a digital camera picture. I do not know what they were looking for with that one, but after she took my picture she said simply, Youre good and waved me in. The deputy sheriff stands guard next to her.

Inside some of the slots are socially distanced with plexiglass barriers,

317

others create separations by being turned off, every other machine,
318
still others seem to offer no social distancing measures at all, and are all turned on in a row, same as always.

The tables games utilized no plexiglass, but had three per table seating only, to keep people apart.

There were more than a few completely empty table game sections.

I did notice a few people with clear plastic cups drinking some beverage or other. I didn't stay long enough to figure out whether these were self serve.

According to the sign by the entrance, smoking is allowed and you may remove your mask to smoke, but I did not observe anyone smoking.

The restaurants not all were open had tables moved pretty far apart.

There are sanitizers around, including this one on the way out.
328

And the exit
329

courthouse, airport terminal, or amusement park style, is an exit only no reentry. Hmm, so is that what the camera was for? that once your pic is taken youre not allowed back in for a while? That doesnt really make a lot of sense, but I didnt stay long enough to find out.

This might be something like what we have in store in Vegas.

Over all, other than the check on the way in, a touch of plexiglass here and there and the distantly spaced restaurant tables, you might not even have noticed the three per table game only spacing - besides the MASKS, it might have just passed for an uncrowded afternoon at any casino.
