How long may you shine on ignore chemo?

A friend of mine with Stage IV colon cancer is refusing chemotherapy.

I recall at law school this upperclassman T.A. was telling me about how, �In life, there are some things you can shine on forever. Others, for a while.� etc.

I asked my friend, how long may you shine on this chemo?


His reply:


Shine it on, dude!


Chemo is for wimps!

As a follow up, this guy didn't make it long before he committed suicide. Made it about eight months, dead at the beginning of 2016. His cancer had not even returned! even though he convinced himself that it had.
