Clinton welcomes the chance to run against Trump

The C. campaign welcomes the chance to run against Trump. It�ll be another slaughter like Obama v. Romney. This guy?

The current fuss over Trump by his own party, calling him a con man, reminds me of Andrew Jackson's situation. When he was running in the 1820s there was really only one national political party, called the Democratic Republican party, which doesn't really correlate to either of our current parties, and they called Jackson a barbarian who could barely spell his own name.

The opposing side really tried hard to smear Jackson, but he ended up with the nomination and winning the general election anyway. It was around Jackson's time that the two party system emerged. Jackson brought in what became the current Democratic party, and the opposing side called him a jack ass, which stuck and became a symbol for the Democrats.
