Obama easily took command of the situation during this second, October 16, 2012, debate. Whenever Romney opened his mouth to utter yet another falsity or ill-defined unworkable policy, I wanted to shout the words "Shut up stupid!" at him. By the end of the debate, Romney seemed to be suffering from laryngitis. He sounded to me weak, eviscerated, almost, defeated. Obama emerged the clear victor on this one, but more than that, he tried hard to bring to light what a piece of silly putty Romney is, with no solid good ideas, and only solid bad ones.
